Easter Bunny Visits Edgewater: Candy Delivery, PPE & Food Drive
Time & Location
About The Event
Even though we can't gather for an Easter Egg hunt, the Easter Bunny is still making plans to visit Edgewater this Saturday and his helpers have been busy *safely* prepping eggs for children living in Edgewater! On Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to noon, the Easter Bunny will be driven down every street in Edgwater in a festively-decorated truck to deliver eggs and pick up donations of PPE (personal protective equipment such as face masks and gowns) and non-perishable food items. Donations will be given to local health and human service organizations.
Would you like the bunny to stop at your house to drop off eggs? Please put some sort of indication at the front of your house to let us know: a brightly painted rock or sign, a picture on the front door, sidewalk chalk, or some other way to let him know! Your decorations will also make our neighborhood look bright and cheery for spring and Easter! And keep an eye out for the truck so kids can come outside and wave and say hello to the Easter Bunny from a safe social distance.
Want to make a donation of PPE or non-perishable food? Put it on the front walk at your house in a bag or some other container -- we'll load it up and leave the container if it's something other than a paper/plastic bag (like if it's a laundry basket).
Help us get the word out to your Edgewater neighbors and friends! We want to be sure every child in Edgewater has a chance to see the Easter Bunny if they'd like.
